I'm an OB/GYN and a researcher. About 80% of what drives your health has nothing to do with the practice of medicine: your insurance, the laws where you live, money, your safety, and whether what happens to you gets counted. So we're starting research that our community asks for and pays for, and we publish what we find with every source attached.
These are our first five projects. Each has a funding goal and a deadline.
The Coverage Rules Tracker
What are the rules for my insurance, and where are they written down? One place for all 50 states and DC.
Goal: $10,000 by November 26, 2026.
They Called It Suicide
Whose deaths were ruled suicide, or whose identities were erased from the record, when their families say otherwise?
Goal: $10,000 by December 31, 2026.
The Record
How did each member of Congress vote on women and families, and who is spending money to elect them?
Goal: $10,000 by January 31, 2027.
Sexual assault
What happens after a woman reports a sexual assault? Nobody puts it in one place.
Goal: $15,000 by March 31, 2027.
AI research
How do AI systems fail when the people responsible for human life use them, and how do we use them without losing control?
Goal: $15,000 by March 31, 2027.
Any amount from $5. Money is held until the project's funding deadline. If a project doesn't reach its goal, we go ahead anyway or you choose a refund or another project. You can change your project or ask for a refund until the research starts. This isn't a tax-deductible donation, and it isn't an investment or a share of the company.
