About their practice

I'm a physician, scientist, and engineer from the Bronx. I founded Diosa Ara, co-founded Race to Better Health, and edit The Labora Collective, where clinical care, policy, and innovation meet. My background runs from MIT and Merck Research Labs through doctoral research on metastatic cancer cells and a postdoc at St. Jude, to medical school, residency, an MPH and a Commonwealth Fund fellowship. I write on the unfinished business of women's health.
